RECIPE & COOKING METHOD
For over 86 years, we have used the same recipe and quality ingredients to create our gourmet popcorn and countless family traditions. We hand-mix every batch the same way we started in 1940. While it is tempting to use technology and machines, every kernel is coated by hand at one of our Boardwalk locations.
PACKAGING
We have been disrupting the popcorn packaging market for years. Our tubs keep your popcorn fresh and crunchy well after your first bite. Bags aren't our thing—and they make it hard to share!
CORPORATE GIFTING
Our Large Tub is designed for sharing with families, friends, or groups. The Large Tub can be customized with a label that includes your message and logo.
We can ship in bulk to your office or individually to clients for the holidays, quarterly gifts, professional milestones, or new employee onboarding.
SPECIAL EVENTS / COLLABORATIONS / PARTIES
Our Large Tub is a great choice for gatherings, group gifts, and special events. We can ship tubs in bulk to a receiving location, so guests leave with a luxury gourmet snack in hand.

Questions? We've Got Answers.
How much popcorn is in a Large Tub?
A Johnson’s Large Tub holds approximately 19–21 cups of popcorn, depending on the flavor selected. Net weights range from 10 oz. to 42 oz. by flavor.
Why do Large Tub flavors have different net weights?
Our Large Tub refers to the size of the container, not a fixed popcorn weight. Because recipes and densities differ, net weight varies by flavor—from 10 oz. for Butter to 42 oz. for Peanut Crunch. Check the Product Details for the net weight and approximate volume of your selected flavor.
How long does popcorn stay fresh in a Large Tub?
Johnson’s Popcorn is best enjoyed fresh, but unopened products have a shelf life of 12 months or longer when kept sealed in a cool, dry place.
Are Johnson’s Large Tub flavors gluten free?
Yes. All Johnson’s Popcorn products are gluten free. Please review the allergen information for your selected flavor if you have additional dietary concerns.
Can I send a Large Tub as a gift?
Absolutely. The Large Tub is a generous choice for family and group gifts, holiday gifts, thank-yous, client and employee gifts, and celebrations. You can add gift wrap for $5.95 and include a gift message at checkout.
Can I ship Large Tubs to multiple addresses or add my company logo?
Yes. For 10 or more gifts, custom logo labels, or shipping to multiple addresses, visit our Corporate Gifting page. We'll help you send a little taste of Ocean City to your whole list.
Popcorn Sizes & Weights
Because each popcorn flavor has a different recipe and density, net weight and approximate volume vary by flavor and container size.
